Undergraduate Studies

Dr. Regueiro attended Whittier College for her undergraduate studies. While at Whittier College, she participated in the Whittier Scholars Program and also participated in Semester at Sea. She double-majored in psychology and Spanish and minored in Social Perspectives on World Cultures.

Graduate Training

Dr. Regueiro earned her master’s degree in psychology at Pepperdine University and went on to earn her doctorate in clinical psychology at the Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University.

During her doctoral training, she completed several practicums through the La Habra Unified School District, the Biola Counseling Center, Clinica Monsenor Oscar A. Romero, and Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital. She also completed a year-long APA-accredited internship at Philhaven Hospital, where she provided assessment, individual psychotherapy, and family therapy services to children and adolescents admitted to the locked inpatient unit.

Post-graduate Training

After completing her doctoral degree, Dr. Regueiro was accepted to a formal post-doctoral training program for pediatric psychologists at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine. The focus of her post-doctoral training was two-fold: completing comprehensive autism evaluations through the Inland Empire Autism Assessment Center of Excellence and providing consultation and liaison services at the Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital. In both settings, Dr. Regueiro trained and worked as part of an interdisciplinary team. She also trained with the pediatric neuropsychologists at Loma Linda University’s pediatric neuroassessment program and pediatric hematology/oncology clinic.
